I’m Patrik, and for nearly 33 years I’ve specialized in professional photography. I’ve had the joy of working with children of every age — from infants and toddlers in daycares all the way through high school seniors and adults — always in a safe, positive, and respectful environment.

My Story

My journey into photography began when I was 18 years old in what was then Czechoslovakia, now the beautiful country of Slovakia. A good friend of mine once asked for my help carrying his equipment on photography jobs at daycares and schools. What started as a supportive role quickly turned into a true passion. With encouragement from our close friends, we have soon launched our own school photography company in 1993, in Bratislava, Slovakia. Over the next seven years, we expanded successfully and served schools across 15 cities.

In 2002, my wife and I made the life-changing decision to move to the United States. With little knowledge of English at first, I turned to teaching ballroom dancing — a longtime hobby of mine — as a way to learn the language and understand the new culture. This experience not only helped me adapt but also gave me the confidence and people skills to successfully reestablish my photography business here in the U.S.

I specialize in school photography and have had the pleasure of photographing children of all ages — from infants and toddlers, to elementary, middle school, and high school students. I also work with business professionals, creating polished portraits for their online presence and marketing needs. This extensive experience has taught me how to quickly connect with every child, helping them feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident in front of the camera — something parents and schools consistently appreciate.
